Masters-Programm

Das Masters Program ist ein fortlaufendes Studienprogramm von Januar 2008 bis Dezember 2013. Der tägliche Unterricht unter Leitung des Ehrw. Geshe Jampa Gelek findet Montags bis Donnerstag 17.30 bis 19.30 Uhr und Freitags 10.30 bis 12.30 Uhr statt. Übersetzung ins Englische und Italienische. Die begleitenden Rückblicksklassen, unter Leitung von Ehrw. Birgit Schweiberer, finden Dienstag, Mittwoch und Donnerstag von 15.00 bis 16.30 Uhr statt. Beide Unterweisungen können nach Rücksprache – auch kostenfrei – besucht werden, wenn die entsprechenden

Grounds and Paths of Secret Mantra Ngawang Palden / Lama Tzong Khapa Losang Drakpa May 2012 – December 2012 A condensed explanation of the subjects covered in Lama Tsongkhapa’s Great Exposition of the Stages of the Path of Mantra. This subject presents the most important features of the four classes of tantra as well as the initiation procedures and particularities of the deity yoga related to each class. The commentary covers all the essential points of Lama Tsongkhapa’s Great Exposition of the Stages of the Path of Mantra, his seminal work on tantra.

Prerequisites: To study the Grounds and Paths of Tantra, it is necessary to have received any highest yoga tantra (mahanuttarayogatantra) initiation, such as that of Yamantaka, Chakrasamvara, Kalachakra, Guhyasamaja, Gyelwa Gyatso, or Hevajra. The initiation must be received from a qualified lama and must entail the taking of the bodhisattva and tantra vows along with the commitment to do the Six Session Guru Yoga practice on a daily basis.

A thorough explanation of the generation and completion stages related to Guhyasamaja. The presentation of the generation stage includes an explanation of the visualization and generation of the mandala and deities and how to carry death, the intermediate state, and rebirth into the path to respectively the truth body, enjoyment body, and emanation body. The presentation of the completion stage discusses the six branches: the isolation of body, isolation of speech, isolation of mind, illusory body, actual clear light, and the union of clear light and the illusory body. The commentary covers all the essential points of Lama Tsongkhapa’s Lamp Illuminating the Five Stages, his seminal work on the Guhyasamaja Tantra.
